আমাদের চারপাশে বিদ্যমান বিভিন্ন ধরণের বস্তুগুলিকে ধাতু এবং অধাতুতে ভাগ করা যায়।
Different types of materials present around us can be divided into metals and nonmetals.
ধাতু (যমন তামা এবং অ্যালুমিনিয়ামের) বিদ্যুৎ এবং তাপের ভাল পরিবাহী। অধাতু (যেমন ফসফরাস এবং সালফার) হল অন্তরক। এই ভিডিওতে, অর্চি মোহন শিকদার স্যার ব্যাখ্যা করেছেন যে কীভাবে তোমরা তোমাদের অভিভাবকদের উপস্থিতিতে নিজেরা পরীক্ষা করে জেনে নিতে পারবে একটি নির্দিষ্ট উপাদান ধাতু নাকি অধাতু।
Metals (like copper and aluminum) are good conductors of electricity and heat. Nonmetals (like phosphorus and sulfur) are insulators.
